PRENATAL CLASSES
Keeping your busy schedule in mind, we have
structured our prenatal training in a variety of
formats.
If this is your first baby you would benefit the
most by enrolling in our regular prenatal program.
This is also true for our clients that are expecting
twins. Our regular prenatal program is offered in a
Weekend or 6-Week Evening format.
For those couples that would like an overview or
refresher, attendance in our one-day Crash Course
Mommies & Daddies program is available.
In addition, we offer two workshops that are a very
nice compliment to your choice of prenatal training.
They are called the Baby Care Workshop and Child
Lifeline Workshop.
Twin clients looking for strategies to assist them
with multiples would find the content of our 'Let's
Talk Twins' workshop beneficial.
Evening
Prenatal Classes - 6 Week Session
Our 6-week evening program is run on a weekly
basis, one evening a week (either Monday, Tuesday or
Wednesday evening) from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm. As a
guideline we like to recommend that clients complete
their prenatal training at least 4-6 weeks prior to
their baby's due date.
The cost for the 6-week prenatal program is $165 +
HST. This amount includes the Mom To-Be and one
support person. You will learn:

labour and birth processes
-
breathing, relaxation, PAIN RELIEF OPTIONS and other methods of
coping
-
details
of medical interventions and their possible
indicators
-
nutritional requirements for pregnancy and
lactation
-
feeding your newborn baby
-
your
newborn baby’s needs and behaviours, post
delivery changes, and your transition from
individual to parent
-

Weekend Prenatal Program
Our weekend prenatal program is run on a
consecutive basis, (ie. 2 Saturdays or 2 Sundays in
a row, depending on the month). Classes start at 9:00 am
and finish up at 4:00 pm. There is a lunch
period and a couple of breaks throughout the day.
As a guideline we like to recommend that clients
complete their prenatal training at least 4-6 weeks
prior to their baby's due date.
The cost for the weekend prenatal program is $165 +
HST. This amount includes the Mom To-Be and one
support person. You will learn:

(& DADDIES)!!
For those clients wanting an overview or refresher,

start promptly at 9:00 am and finish up at 4:00 pm.

This 3 hour workshop will provide expectant
parents of multiples various strategies to help them
prepare for what life will be like with two or more
babies. Specifically:

For our clients who have registered in either
the 6-week or weekend prenatal program, the cost
to attend this workshop is $45.00/couple + HST.
For those clients who want to attend this
workshop independent of the regular prenatal
program, the cost is $55.00/couple + HST.

WORKSHOP
This interactive workshop will benefit parents-to-be, new grandparents
and anyone that will be caring for your newborn
baby.
